Statistics show that 80% of people that die by suicide are of working ages, 18 to 65. As
adults spend about one-third of their lives at work, the workplace can be an opportune
platform for crisis intervention programs.
Learn how to identify the myths about suicide, know the warning signs, how to effectively
communicate with a suicidal person, and how to help them obtain evaluation and treatment.
This training focuses on psychological first aid for the veteran population and is also
applicable to everyone.
Participants will learn the following:

- How to act during a conversation
- How to ask the right questions
- Available support resources
