Our community in person projects will be limited for the rest of 2021 due to the continued Covid limitations. Our goal is to support a minimum of 1 community project/event per quarter. We are looking for community organizations or veteran focused non-profits to partner with to support your cause. If you need support with volunteers, event planning, fundraising drives or help promoting your event please reach out to us. Sacramento Employers if your VERG is planning an event and need volunteers or extra hands we would love to collaborate with you. Our ultimate goal is together we will all achieve more and have a higher reach to support our Veteran Community.
For the remainder of 2021 this is what we are planning and will update our site when dates and details are confirmed:
- Late spring we will be partnering with HP and their VERG with a local community center in feeding veterans.
- Late summer we will be supporting Blue Star Moms by holding a care package contents drive for 500-1,000 CARE boxes their organization packs and sends to deployed Military.
- December we will be partnering with Blue Shield to support Wreaths Across America with a goal of beating last years record of 500 wreaths to lay on veterans graves.
