Shauna Harrington is the Senior Director of Outreach and Executive Talent in Human Resources for VSP Global, recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best Large Employers.
Harrington has over 35 years working in fast-paced, growth-focused corporate headquarters for high-profile, international organizations creating and managing programs and teams in the areas of talent acquisition, leadership development, communications, employee engagement, diversity and workforce development. She has achieved certifications in a broad range of leadership and organizational development processes and programs.
Harrington is one of the committed and passionate leaders at VSP advising and coaching in the inclusion and diversity space collaborating with several internal Business Resource Groups (BRGs) and actively partnering with community organizations to create and execute related programs.
She has been a featured speaker at several regional, national and international professional association meetings and conferences throughout the US.
Harrington earned her bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and is a Senior Certified Professional recognized from the top two HR certifications (SPHR and SHRM-SCP). Harrington is a past president of SAHRA (Sacramento Area Human Resource Management Association), served on its board of directors for seven years and continues to serve SAHRA and other various community boards and advisory councils in the Sacramento region.
